About me
I'm a learning scientist/mathematics educator/teacher educator/teacher/life-long learner who works to foster deep and expansive learning and teaching opportunities that center children's meaning making. I think of teaching as a "Listening Profession" and believe that our work as teachers is to support children to thrive socially, emotionally, cognitively, culturally and linguistically through their experiences in education. Education matters. Teaching matters. How we do it matters. I dream of finding ways to help make NM the best place to be a teacher and student, building on the incredible work educators in our state do day in and day out to help the next generation thrive. We are in this together!
